Theodore E. Niedermayer

Theodore E. Niedermayer (“Ted”) is President of Fitch Solutions. Prior to assuming his current position in March of 2022, Ted was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the Fitch Group, Inc. He joined the Fitch Group as Chief Financial Officer in June 2014 and in February 2019 was additionally named Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Niedermayer was previously Chief Operating Officer and Senior Managing Director of Finance at H/2 Capital Partners, an alternative investment manager. Prior to joining H/2 in 2011, he was a Managing Director in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in 2004, Mr. Niedermayer was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs & Co. He previously worked at Lehman Brothers and at Salomon Brothers in investment banking.

Ted earned an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College and a BA in Economics from Hobart College. He serves as a member of Board of Advisors at the Tuck School of Business and is a Trustee of the Bayard Cutting Arboretum.
