Our Programs

By supporting our long-term charity partners and their innovative programs, we aim to build more resilient communities around the world, particularly where our employees live and work.

Our focus is on improving access to education and increasing employability with a view to empower individuals achieve their personal and career goals. Alongside our charity partners, we are working to enhance social mobility by unlocking the potential of individuals from low-income backgrounds.

EDUCATION

Education is one of the most powerful drivers of societal resilience. We want to address the barriers preventing 251 million children and young people from attending school.

Through our partnerships with local organizations, we have donated school bags filled with essential educational resources, creating pathways to learning for children around the world. By the end of 2025, we had donated 12,865 school bags, bringing the total since 2021 to 28,305.

Empowering communities through education, Fitch volunteers helped build schools in Senegal, Guatemala, Malawi and Nepal which will also act as community spaces. This initiative was in partnership with buildOn. The schools provide essential educational spaces supporting 651 young people, 53% of them girls. Since we began supporting buildOn with its new school developments, we have helped to positively impact 12,452 people.

06

EMPLOYABILITY

Our Financial Services Career Accelerator helps young people from underrepresented groups secure apprenticeships. We have also launched the Fitch Elevate Program in London and Manchester, UK, to offer promising young talent a six-month paid internship.

By reaching talented individuals who may not otherwise have exposure to the sector, these programs widen access to professional opportunities and improve future employability.

Supporting social mobility

Our Fitch Young Leaders Path Program in London and Manchester supports social mobility in our communities by improving the employability and financial education of students aged 15–18 in underserved areas. The program covers four key areas: future work readiness, financial education, technology skills and global citizens and wellbeing.

EMPOWERMENT

Promoting access to education through innovation

We partner with Social Shifters for the Global Innovation Education Challenge, inviting entrepreneurs aged 18–30 globally to develop business solutions for accessible, high-quality education. Participants receive free access to Social Shifters’ Digital Incubator program, offering e-learning, exclusive events, and online coaching. In 2025, we added a regional pitching process to the program, laddering up to the global pitch for further grant fundings. This evolution enabled us to widen visibility of the entrepreneurs and their ideas, while allowing more of our employees to get involved with coaching and judging panel opportunities.
