Business and Relationship Management are dedicated to shaping our partner and client’s rating experience from managing existing relationships to garnering new ones, BRM is our outreach to the global financial community.

Product & Sales

Fitch’s excellently tailored Management and Leadership (Forward Path) training courses have helped boost my career enormously. In my two years at Fitch, I have learned the ins and outs of operations and I continue to do so each day thanks to the support and knowledge of my colleagues. When I started in my role, I was part of a small operations team that had six associates. In the last two years, our team has grown substantially, having departments open up in Manchester and Singapore. One of the biggest thrills of my life has been being able to move to Singapore for six months to train new associates. Fitch has allowed me to interact with colleagues globally and has opened my eyes to different experiences and cultures that I didn’t think I would be exposed to. I quickly went from being a new hire to someone who mentors and develops new hires.

Early Talent Programs

Associate Analyst Program

The Associate Analyst Program is a combination of structured training designed specifically to provide a broad analytical perspective and on-the-job learning experience. As an Associate Analyst, you’ll be assigned to a specific Fitch Ratings product group and provided roles and responsibilities that fully immerse you in the credit rating process.

Our analysts learn early in their careers what it is like to sit across the table from a Fortune 100 CEO, a Portfolio Manager or a Minister of Finance, and have their ideas heard. Collaboration is a vital part of the Fitch Ratings experience. Together with real-world opportunities to explore our business and develop your skills, you can expect to be exposed to the most senior leaders and take on responsibility early in your career.

Associate Software Engineer Program

The Associate Software Engineer Program is designed to develop your technical expertise to deliver world-class and innovative solutions to Fitch Ratings. As an Associate Software Engineer, you’ll understand what our business needs to operate more efficiently, and be an integral part of the team that builds the solutions.

Country Risk & Industry Research Associate Analyst

The 12-month program will give candidates the extensive training they need to become a successful analyst within the CRIR team. Each AA will join a specific team to build up knowledge and expertise throughout the year. You may be placed within the following teams: Automotives, Country Risk, Commodities (Agribusiness/Mining/Metals), Consumer, Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, TMT, Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare, and Custom research teams.

Graduate Program

The 2023 Fitch Solutions Graduate Program offers an ideal experience for recent graduates who are interested in pursuing a financial technology career and wish to work in a dynamic client-facing role. Selected participants can expect to receive exceptional in-depth training in a diverse peer environment built on inclusiveness, experiential learning, and development in the following areas:

  • Customer Success Management (CSM): Embodying an integral part of the support structure for Fitch Solutions - North America accounts, participants will learn to drive value and adoption of the Fitch Connect platform across a subset of key clients within our book of business.

  • Marketing: Crafting both creative and strategic customer-centric brand stories, participants will learn to create and execute inbound and outbound content-led marketing programs to expand our digital footprint, build brand awareness and generate leads, using all applicable channels.

  • Product: Delivering continuous improvement to enhance the quality of Fitch’s ratings and supporting analytics by utilizing new tools, content, datasets and models, participants will learn to identify, evaluate, prioritize, implement and manage new Ratings product initiatives which support the strategic vision of Fitch Ratings and Fitch Solutions.

In addition, participants can also look forward to networking events, exploration of Fitch’s commitment to community service, direct one-to-one mentorship, and further educational and professional development.
